Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Install, troubleshoot, and provide technical maintenance for hardware and software products and components, primarily at customer locations.

• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other necessary services.

• Execute minor repairs on products within a designated area.

• Assess products for proper functionality and address or escalate issues according to established protocols.

• Organize service appointments and complete necessary documentation.

• Collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and comprehension of product features.

• Diagnose hardware and software malfunctions using diagnostic tools.

• Carry out component-level hardware repairs.

• Clean and calibrate mechanical components.

• Configure and install relevant software.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks.

• Replenish consumables as instructed.

• Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.

• Educate and train customers on the usage of installed hardware and software.

• Engage in hardware and software training sessions.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at achieving set KPIs.

• Support special projects as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Required: Relevant education or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of pertinent experience or a suitable combination of education and experience in Field Services.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet standards.

• Proficiency in PC usage and familiarity with applicable tools and methods.

• Preferred: Product knowledge in the relevant industry and basic ITIL skills.

• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks.

• Capability to lift and transport heavy items, remain standing for extended periods, climb, bend, and stoop while servicing equipment.

• Acceptance of exposure to outdoor conditions.

• Flexibility regarding shifts, including participation in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends.

• Outstanding customer service skills.

• Ability to organize and manage truck inventory of parts and tools.

• Strong sense of urgency, organizational capabilities, professional demeanor, and capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Must be able to pass MVR, background, and drug tests where applicable.

• Prior experience as a Firstline Service Technician is preferred.

• Vocational/Trade School education is preferred.
