This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair services for assigned GE OEC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and adhere to Field Modification Instructions.
• Order and oversee repair parts cycle times.
• Keep customer service logs and internal service documentation up to date.
• Engage with customers daily to ensure issues are resolved and followed up on.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and testing equipment.
• Oversee vendors' service delivery processes in accordance with GE Healthcare policies.
• Address and resolve customer service delivery challenges while conducting root-cause analysis.
• Get involved in sales opportunities, including contract renewals and revenue generation programs.
• Collaborate with the local team to ensure effective service delivery to assigned accounts.
• Provide training to clinical staff on designated equipment as necessary.
• Support customer sites throughout South Los Angeles, the South Bay area, and Orange County, with additional coverage in the Pacific Region as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military education, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Alternatively, 3 years of relevant experience along with successful completion of the GEHC Field Service Engineer Apprentice Program.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED and 12 or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.
• Proven experience in interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-oriented service process.
• Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
• Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.
• Six Sigma training or certification is preferred.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, as applicable.
