Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Install, convert, repair, and remove ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and various Cash Depot products.

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose and address electro-mechanical, hardware, and equipment problems.

• Execute ATM cash replenishment and coin removal services as per schedule.

• Perform software updates, diagnostics, and equipment testing.

• Collaborate with dispatch to fulfill service requests and installations.

• Manage inventory and communicate requirements for parts and supplies.

• Accurately and promptly complete necessary service documentation.

• Achieve departmental performance metrics regarding efficiency, safety, and first-time fix rates.

• Foster strong relationships with customers.

• Represent Cash Depot professionally at customer sites.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.

• Address customer needs while adhering to security protocols.

• Assist in training and accompanying other technicians.

• Suggest improvements in processes and efficiency.

• Engage in ongoing technical training programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical equipment.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physical ability to lift and move equipment as required for the role.

• Preferred experience in ATM, kiosk, vending, HVAC, telecommunications, or field service.

• Technical troubleshooting experience is preferred.

• Background in military, mechanical, maintenance, or service technician roles is preferred.

• Experience with cash handling equipment is preferred.

• Ability to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs.

• Willingness to undertake extensive driving, customer-site visits, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
