Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, conduct preventive maintenance on, and repair designated diagnostic instruments.

• Identify technical issues across various complex instruments.

• Accurately document resolutions and ensure service calls are closed within specified timelines.

• Manage customer concerns from resolution through escalation while fostering customer relationships.

• Plan and prioritize service visits while maintaining precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, provide after-hours support, and travel for training or critical account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory standards, quality systems, and laboratory safety protocols.

• Keep accurate documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales, cost-of-service, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the assigned territory.

• Valid Driver’s License is required.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with laboratory instruments.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet applications, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain certifications through ongoing training and professional development.
