Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Diagnose technical issues and determine effective solutions.

• Execute both electronic and mechanical repairs along with troubleshooting tasks.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of technical products.

• Create and submit detailed service reports in a timely manner.

• Surpass the expectations of both the company and its customers.

• Address customer needs and foster positive relationships.

• Keep tools and calibrated equipment in optimal condition.

• Fulfill daily service requirements at designated sites and locations.

• Independently plan and conduct repairs and preventive maintenance activities in the field.

• Organize work schedules based on field demands.

• Cover Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport and its surrounding areas.

• Report directly to the Area Manager of Security Field Service.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair necessary.

• Experience in managing time and completing small field projects effectively.

• Technical aptitude with a capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Professional demeanor with a customer-centric approach.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexible attitude and openness to a dynamic schedule and work environment.

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, pre-employment physical, and credit evaluation.

• Capability to safely execute essential physical tasks related to the job.

• Ability to meet essential qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Required to obtain and maintain an Airport ID Badge in accordance with the Airport Security Plan and TSA regulations.

• Must acquire and sustain the necessary public trust security clearance (eApp).

• Authorization to access and manage Sensitive Security Information (SSI) is required.

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time by plane, both domestically and internationally.

• Required to have a Real ID and Passport for international travel.

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) is mandatory.

• Flexibility to work overtime and varied hours as dictated by business needs.

• Certification in trade training is preferred.
