Senior AI/ML Architect, Applied Field Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical authority, showcasing Snowflake’s AI and ML capabilities and advantages to technical stakeholders within client organizations throughout the Americas.

• Collaborate with Snowflake account teams and customer advocates to outline and execute proofs of concept, ensuring successful technical outcomes.

• Present executive summaries and business value propositions.

• Work alongside product and engineering teams to shape AI and ML development roadmaps informed by customer insights.

• Create and share articles, conference presentations, technical documentation, notebooks, and demos.

• Influence, customize, and uphold Sales Engineering AI and ML sales materials, including client presentations, demonstrations, and success stories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in constructing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions within cloud environments.

• Knowledge of generative AI methodologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning.

• Profound understanding of Python and prevalent ML libraries including LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch.

• Familiarity with data engineering tools and technologies like dbt, Airflow, and Spark.

• Excellent presentation abilities for both technical and executive audiences.

• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• A Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Practical knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source software packages.

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Snowflake is preferred.

• Understanding and experience with large-scale database technologies such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.
