Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations for the maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.

• Properly utilize safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair items or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and enter data promptly and accurately after each task.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to arrival at customers' homes.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics, including customer satisfaction, fix-right-first-time rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide an outstanding customer experience while servicing products in customers' residences and represent LG in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role (preferably appliance repair).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (such as refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• A valid Driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Physical ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

• Willingness to cover areas in greater Seattle, WA, and surrounding regions (including Bellevue, Redmond, and Downtown Seattle).
