Field Service Technician, Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to carry out maintenance and repairs on LG equipment.

• Utilize all necessary safety gear (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify problems, evaluate their scope, document observations, and determine whether to repair items or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and conduct data entry promptly and accurately after each service call.

• Pre-screen service requests for the next day by collecting information to aid diagnosis prior to arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisit frequency, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Represent LG in a professional manner while providing an outstanding in-home customer experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficient in utilizing tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capable of effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and documenting product/system issues.

• Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repairs, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Must be available to work in the greater Everett, WA area and its surroundings.
