Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations away from the office to carry out maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment.

• Utilize safety gear (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.

• Perform technical diagnosis and specialized repairs on electronic devices and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document observations, and determine whether to repair items or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and conduct data entry promptly and accurately following each service call.

• Pre-screen service requests for the next day by gathering information that aids in problem diagnosis prior to arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, return visits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Oversee inventory and carry out daily administrative responsibilities.

• Represent LG in a professional manner while providing outstanding customer service in clients' homes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficient in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Ability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.

• Capability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must meet physical demands typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to cover service areas in the Little Rock, AR metropolitan region and surrounding areas.
