Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations offsite to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment, ensuring optimal product performance.

• Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools from LG appropriately.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on various electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and make decisions regarding repairs or part replacements.

• Efficiently process paperwork and enter data accurately after completing each job.

• Pre-screen service calls for the following day by gathering necessary information to assist in diagnosing issues before arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide an outstanding customer experience while servicing products in clients' homes.

• Oversee inventory and carry out daily administrative duties.

• Professionally represent LG to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role (preferably in appliance repair).

• Proven experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Possession of a valid driver's license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the relevant EPA Certification.

• Meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
