Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to carry out maintenance and repairs on LG equipment.

• Effectively utilize safety gear, vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate the severity of problems, document findings, and determine whether to repair items or replace components.

• Promptly and accurately complete paperwork and conduct data entry after each service job.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering information to aid in diagnosing issues before arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentages.

• Represent LG with professionalism while delivering outstanding in-home customer service experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficient in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Capacity to meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repairs, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work in the greater Portland, OR metropolitan area and its surroundings.
