Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to carry out maintenance and repair tasks on LG equipment.

• Utilize safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools that are supplied by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and execute specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair devices or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and conduct data entry promptly and accurately after each service call.

• Pre-screen next-day service requests by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to arriving at customer residences.

• Achieve or surpass company goals related to customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide an outstanding customer experience while professionally representing LG.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical field (appliance repair is preferred).

• Proficiency in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment is essential.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• A valid Driver’s license in good standing is required.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repair, such as continuous bending and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work in the Albuquerque metro area and its surroundings.
