Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment.

• Properly utilize all safety gear, vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and execute specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair or replace parts.

• Complete paperwork and data entry accurately and promptly following each job.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues before arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics, which include customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Represent LG in a professional manner while providing outstanding customer service in the home.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficient in the use of tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues effectively.

• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.

• Capability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Fulfill physical demands typically associated with field service repair, such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
