Field Service Technician, Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repair work on LG equipment.

• Utilize safety gear, vehicles, and diagnostic tools supplied by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document observations, and determine whether to repair products or replace components.

• Complete necessary paperwork and enter data promptly and accurately following each task.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering information to aid in diagnosis before arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, fix-right-first-time rates, revisit frequency, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while servicing LG products in clients' homes.

• Represent LG professionally as the primary point of contact for customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role (preferably in appliance repair).

• Proficient in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning devices.

• Familiarity with using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and documenting product or system-related issues effectively.

• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Meet physical demands associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to cover the greater Portland, ME metro area and its surroundings.
