Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to carry out maintenance and repair on LG's equipment.

• Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools from LG.

• Perform technical assessments and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair products or replace components.

• Complete paperwork and conduct data entry following each service call.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering information to aid in diagnosing issues before arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or exceed company targets related to customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, return visits, parts management, and overtime percentages.

• Represent LG with professionalism while delivering outstanding in-home customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (Field Service preferred).

• Proficiency in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.

• Ability to acquire the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must be able to consistently bend and lift weights of up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to work in coverage areas including Louisville, Jeffersonville, Shively, Jeffersontown, and the surrounding metro regions.
