Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to provide maintenance and repair services for LG's equipment.

• Utilize all safety gear (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools supplied by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair or replace components.

• Accurately complete paperwork and data entry after finishing each assignment.

• Pre-screen next-day service calls by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to arriving at customer residences.

• Achieve or surpass company benchmarks for customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Provide an outstanding customer experience and represent LG in a professional manner within customers' homes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).

• Proficient in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• A valid Driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must meet physical demands, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
