
Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment, ensuring optimal product performance.
• Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools effectively.
• Perform technical diagnoses and specialized repairs on a diverse range of electronics and home appliances.
• Identify issues, evaluate the severity of the problems, document findings, and determine whether to repair the item or replace parts.
• Promptly and accurately complete paperwork and data entry after each job is finished.
• Pre-screen service calls for the following day by gathering essential information to assist in diagnosing issues before visiting customers’ homes.
• Achieve or surpass company goals, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience while servicing products at customers' residences and represent LG in a professional manner.
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (preferably in appliance repair).
• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).
• Proficient in using tools and diagnostic testing equipment.
• Capable of effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and documenting product or system issues.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.
• Meet the physical demands commonly associated with field service repairs, such as continuous bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
