Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repair on LG's equipment.

• Utilize all necessary safety equipment (PPE), along with vehicle and diagnostic tools supplied by LG.

• Perform technical diagnosis and execute specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document observations, and determine whether to repair products or replace components.

• Accurately complete paperwork and data entry following the conclusion of each job.

• Pre-screen service calls for the following day by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to visiting customers' homes.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics such as customer satisfaction, fix-right-first-time, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

• Oversee inventory and execute daily administrative responsibilities.

• Professionally represent LG as the company's face to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical capacity (appliance repair preferred).

• Experience in repairing major appliances (including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products).

• Proficiency in utilizing tools and diagnostic test equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Must be able to continuously bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to provide coverage in the Mobile, AL metro area and its surroundings.
