This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee all facets of customer service and support.
• Independently diagnose and repair high-speed cash-handling machinery.
• Monitor and manage tools and parts inventory.
• Stay updated with technical and functional modifications to GLORY equipment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep clients informed during maintenance activities or system outages.
• Execute machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, and hardware/software updates.
• Adhere to safety protocols and policies.
• Complete mandatory Environmental Health & Safety training.
• Promptly report any job-site injuries or property damage.
• Collaborate with the District Service Manager.
• Travel from home to customer locations using the assigned company van.
• Currently pursuing or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in relevant fields are preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication capabilities.
• Proficient in personal computers, Microsoft Office, network sites, and email applications.
• Logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues at the PCB or component level.
• Capability to interpret electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
• Understanding of AC/DC power distribution and both digital and analog circuitry.
• Experience in repairing high-speed paper-handling devices, ATMs, or copiers; prior ATM or copier experience is favored.
• Preferred 3–5 years of technical field service repair experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unaided.
• Capability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, and twist for extended durations.
• Must be able to work at various customer sites, including financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail locations.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis.
• Availability for an on-call rotation, typically every 3 to 5 weeks.
• Ability to travel to customer sites during business hours.
• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays.
• Capability to manage limited accessibility at job sites.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated territory.
