Field Service Technician – 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct training and execute significant component replacements and repair services throughout the Invenergy fleet.

• Ensure that operations and maintenance tasks are carried out safely in accordance with Invenergy's policies and procedures.

• Travel away from home for four-week periods, followed by one week off at home.

• Act as a representative of Invenergy and the Field Service Group to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various equipment platforms.

• Educate site personnel on safety protocols, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and the Ops Support System.

• Lead teams in executing major component replacements and repairs across diverse equipment platforms and manufacturers.

• Resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic challenges.

• Comprehend the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic operations of various equipment platforms.

• Conduct inspections of equipment and sites, compiling the relevant reports.

• Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

• Draft and update procedures and documentation related to component replacements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• A minimum of two (2) years of technical experience and/or education related to renewable energy systems.

• Experience with multiple platforms is highly preferred.

• Proficient in utilizing software systems to troubleshoot various issues.

• Capable of working safely with minimal supervision.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be willing and able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

• Ability to climb ladders independently.

• Capacity to lift and move up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).

• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.

• Must be able to work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).

• Weight must not exceed 129 kg (265 lbs.) excluding any equipment/gear worn during job-related tasks.

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Must successfully pass drug testing and receive a negative result prior to commencing work.
