This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Conduct preventative maintenance and perform basic repairs on engines and associated components at customer locations.
β’ Identify and troubleshoot technical problems utilizing service tools, equipment, software, and guided workflows.
β’ Repair, disassemble, inspect, replace, and reassemble engine or power-generation components.
β’ Verify completed repairs and ensure products function as intended.
β’ Escalate complex or unresolved technical matters.
β’ Document troubleshooting processes, repairs, technical observations, service results, worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
β’ Monitor live fault codes and address select issues by phone or escalate them to dealerships.
β’ Create cases, assign tasks, track critical fault codes, and generate daily reports and analyses.
β’ Respond to inbound customer inquiries and provide support via toll-free phone, email, chat, and PCC.
β’ Update customer cases and closure details in Cummins systems and Salesforce.
β’ Offer information regarding dealerships, parts depots, service networks, parts, spares, training, and technical literature.
β’ Follow up with field offices and process owners to address customer concerns.
β’ Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
β’ Adhere to HSE policies and utilize required PPE.
β’ Provide 24x7 support to dealership and field service teams as necessary.
β’ Vocational Diploma / ITI or an equivalent qualification from a relevant technical institution.
β’ Technical qualification in Mechanical, Automobile, Diesel, Electrical, or a related discipline.
β’ A locally valid driving license/permit is mandatory.
β’ Basic practical knowledge of engines and related products.
β’ Minimal workshop-related experience is necessary.
β’ Strong foundational knowledge in mechanics and basic electrical systems.
β’ Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
β’ Capability to work independently at customer sites.
β’ Proficient in accurately documenting service activities and technical observations.
β’ Willingness to work rotational shifts in a 24x7 operational environment, including night, morning, and afternoon shifts.
β’ Open to working on weekends and public holidays.
β’ Proficient in using electronic service tools and diagnostic equipment.
β’ Ability to comply with HSE policies, procedures, legislation, and PPE requirements.
β’ 5-day work week with days off as per the roster.
β’ Access to required technical and business training.
