This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance, installation, and repair of instrumentation at both internal and external customer locations, including key strategic accounts.

• Effectively resolve assigned technical and customer-related issues independently.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.

• Conduct high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance on mass spectrometers, HPLC, and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.

• Execute qualification services and deliver customer training.

• Ensure customer satisfaction for strategic accounts.

• Carry out administrative responsibilities such as logging service activities, managing expenses, and overseeing inventory.

• Report directly to the District Service Manager within the Field Technical Service organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience (such as Military Certificates in electronics or avionics).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis.

• Previous experience in using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.

• Compliance with Vendor Credentialing requirements.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally by vehicle or airplane, with up to 50% overnight travel.

• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability and readiness to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and adhering to problem-solving procedures.

• Experience with electrical and electromechanical technology.

• Commitment to following all necessary safety protocols.
