This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee operational readiness efforts for the initiation of new sites, which encompasses budget monitoring, resource allocation planning, readiness evaluations, and status updates.
• Track and analyze expenses related to startup and deployment, providing comprehensive reports, analyses, and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate technician onboarding processes and field training programs.
• Engage in technician interview processes and offer technical evaluations along with hiring recommendations.
• Assess technical skills during the onboarding process and deliver constructive feedback and readiness evaluations.
• Counsel Operations Managers and Regional Service Managers regarding workforce preparedness, technical skill gaps, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
• Offer on-site technical leadership for facility launches, operational interruptions, and critical staffing requirements.
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues involving equipment, systems, and operations.
• Provide hands-on coaching, technical instruction, and developmental feedback to field technicians.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to prioritize field support deployments and enhance service delivery.
• Foster and sustain customer relationships while upholding Kenco’s service, quality, and safety standards.
• Contribute to the Kenco Operating System through ongoing improvement initiatives, operational audits, investigations, and actions aimed at enhancing safety, inventory precision, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%–75% of the time.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in servicing material handling equipment, maintenance, or a related technical domain.
• 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or lead technician role is required.
• Proven proficiency in diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems.
• Established track record of training and mentoring individuals in technical settings.
• Strong familiarity with business systems and technological platforms.
• Previous experience as a trainer or lead technician is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to set up an iPad.
• Certified forklift operator trainer.
• Flexibility to be deployed on short notice based on organizational needs.
• A passport is recommended but not mandatory.
