Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Install and deploy new systems.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on systems.

• Offer remote technical support for systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems to identify failure sources.

• Complete reporting and documentation for maintenance and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering (Bachelor's preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service for medical systems (imaging; 5+ years MRI preferred).

• Knowledge of multidisciplinary capital equipment service.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Proficient in resolving hardware electronics issues (both analog and digital).

• Skilled in troubleshooting software and networking challenges.

• Ability to interpret instructions from written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.

• Possess a “hands-on” approach.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to work during 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Willing to travel approximately 80% of the time.
