Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.

• Install and maintain diagnostic instruments and systems in both hospital and independent laboratory settings.

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, validate, and conduct preventive maintenance on assigned instrumentation independently.

• Accurately complete preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and necessary service documentation in a timely manner.

• Provide technical training on diagnostic products and systems.

• Develop and strengthen customer relationships, becoming a valued partner in their business operations.

• Travel throughout the assigned district, including Canada and nearby regions, such as Northern Ontario.

• Offer support to customers across various laboratory environments utilizing Beckman Coulter Diagnostics systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in hematology is required.

• Prior field service experience is preferred.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight trips within the assigned service district and occasionally to other districts across Canada.

• Capability to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Eligibility to travel to and from the United States.

• A valid G driver’s license is required.

• Must meet Beckman Coulter’s safe driver criteria and adhere to Danaher Company Vehicle Policy requirements.

• Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, which includes annual background checks, immunizations, and necessary training.

• Experience in servicing hematology, chemistry, immunochemistry, automation, or urinalysis instrumentation is advantageous.

• Experience with servicing IVD instrumentation is also a plus.
