Field Service Engineer – X-Ray Multi-Vendor Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute advanced, comprehensive system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair services on OEM non-GE designated X-ray equipment, including brands like Philips, Siemens, Canon, and Samsung.

• Engage daily with department personnel regarding the status of equipment and ongoing concerns.

• Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure issues are resolved and followed up appropriately.

• Keep customer service logs and internal service records current.

• Manage tools and testing equipment, ensuring they are calibrated.

• Identify sales prospects and relay them to the account team.

• Collaborate as part of the local team to deliver efficient and cost-effective service.

• Oversee cost control for warranty and Planned Maintenance Service contracts.

• Support and guide fellow Field Engineers on advanced troubleshooting and technical solutions.

• Lead the installation of complex and multifunctional systems.

• Uphold quality systems and programs that comply with ISO 9001 standards and GE HealthCare Service Quality policies.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives.

• Enhance customer satisfaction through a commitment to Service Excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a National Diploma or B-Tech Degree or an equivalent qualification.

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities.

• Significant experience in Field Services with OEM-trained X-ray systems.

• In-depth understanding of X-ray systems and associated imaging modalities.

• Proficiency in English.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• High standards of work, initiative, and motivation.

• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer orientation with the capacity to influence and build effective relationships.
