Field Service Engineer – X-Ray Multi-Vendor Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive, system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair services on OEM non-GE designated X-ray equipment, which includes systems from Philips, Siemens, Canon, and Samsung.

• Engage daily with department personnel regarding the status of equipment and any ongoing issues.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers to ensure issues are resolved, proper follow-up is conducted, and customer satisfaction is achieved.

• Keep customer service logs and internal records current and accurate.

• Ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated properly.

• Identify potential sales opportunities and relay them to the account team.

• Collaborate as part of the local team to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services.

• Oversee the management of costs associated with warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contracts.

• Provide support and mentorship to other Field Engineers in advanced troubleshooting and technical solutions.

• Lead the installation of complex and multifunctional systems.

• Uphold quality systems and programs that comply with ISO 9001 standards and GE HealthCare Service Quality policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a National Diploma or B-Tech Degree, or possess equivalent qualifications.

• Demonstrate strong technical and analytical abilities.

• Have substantial Field Services experience with OEM-trained X-ray systems.

• Possess an extensive understanding of X-ray systems and associated imaging modalities.

• Be proficient in English.

• Exhibit the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Display high work standards, initiative, and motivation.

• Possess robust planning and organizational skills.

• Have excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal abilities.

• Show a strong customer focus with the capacity to influence and build effective relationships.
