Field Service Engineer – Waste Recycling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation sites.

• Ensuring the highest performance of TOMRA sorting systems in operational settings.

• Providing outstanding customer experiences through effective communication and support.

• Enhancing the sorting systems/process by conducting sampling and testing.

• Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses by introducing complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.

• Serving as a liaison between our customers and Headquarters, gathering and delivering market feedback to continuously seek new opportunities for our customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed secondary technical education (FP2) or higher with a focus on electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Willingness to travel 80% of the time or more.

• Work experience in an industrial setting with an emphasis on on-site preventive and corrective maintenance is a significant advantage.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

• Familiarity with computer applications, PC configuration, and network structures.

• Native Italian speaker with proficiency in English.

• A valid full clean driving license is required.

• Knowledge of the metal scrap industry and recycling processes is a plus.
