Field Service Engineer, Superviseur de Chantiers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Independently manage, coordinate, and oversee the assembly, testing, and commissioning activities of HV (High Voltage) substations.

• Prioritize quality, safety, timelines, and cost efficiency.

• Educate local teams on GIS assembly processes in accordance with GE quality and safety protocols.

• Report any safety violations to the Site Manager, Project Manager, and upper management.

• Understand and implement safety regulations and procedures related to high-risk activities as defined by GE.

• Engage in frequent international travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Early-career engineer with initial global experience, OR a Senior Electrotechnical Technician with 5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics.

• Proficient in computer applications: MS Office, MS Project.

• Fluent in English.

• Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent capability to anticipate needs and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Proficient written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse cultural teams.

• Remote position available from anywhere in France, preferably near an international airport.

• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
