Field Service Engineer – Recycling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Install, commission, test, maintain, and enhance TOMRA sorting systems throughout Australia.

• Identify and resolve issues related to electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, and network systems.

• Offer technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

• Conduct operator and maintenance training for customer personnel.

• Organize service operations, upgrades, and project-related tasks.

• Generate precise service reports and relevant documentation.

• Spot opportunities for upgrades, enhancements, and spare parts sales.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Technical Support teams.

• Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in alignment with company and regulatory standards.

• Travel frequently within Australia and occasionally abroad.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a similar Engineering field.

• At least 3 years of experience in supporting industrial equipment within a Field Service, Maintenance, or Technical Support role.

• Proficient troubleshooting skills in electrical and electronic systems.

• Strong mechanical skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Authorized to work in Australia.

• Experience with optical sorting technology is preferred.

• Background in the recycling sector is preferred.

• Familiarity with industrial networking, IT systems, and cybersecurity principles is preferred.

• Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
