This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional support to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in both hospital and laboratory settings.

• Execute fault diagnosis, repairs, preventative maintenance, modifications, installations, and decommissioning of diagnostic medical equipment.

• Service Immunoassay, Chemistry, and Haematology diagnostic analyzers along with automated track systems.

• Act as a representative of Beckman Coulter on-site, providing professional and customer-centered service.

• Ensure that equipment is upheld to the highest standards of safety and performance.

• Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and enhance instrument utilization.

• Cultivate knowledge of the industry, the company, products, and team through a well-defined personal Development Plan.

• Report to the Field Technical Service Manager as a key member of the UK Field Service team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Field Service within a laboratory environment or a similar setting, focusing on the servicing of diagnostic instrumentation.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with a proven record of delivering superior customer-centric service.

• Relevant qualifications such as BSc, HND, or HNC in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 100% of the time.

• Possession of a full UK driver’s license.

• Ability to participate in a planned on-call rota to provide remote customer support after hours as needed.

• Previous experience with instrumentation software and firmware modifications and upgrades is advantageous.

• Familiarity with service reporting software is a plus.

• Understanding of medical device regulations and compliance requirements is beneficial.
