Field Service Engineer – MRI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on all equipment models related to assigned modalities, primarily focusing on MR equipment.

• Oversee the upkeep of all models pertinent to the modality within the designated area.

• Execute comprehensive system-level troubleshooting for intricate multi-symptom issues.

• Clearly communicate the status of equipment to both customers and department managers.

• Ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining equipment functionality.

• Support account sales visits and provide training to others when necessary.

• Identify potential sales opportunities and relay them to the accounts team.

• Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business within the geographical area.

• Control costs associated with warranty and PMS contracts.

• Timely complete administrative tasks, such as FMI and PMS inspection documentation.

• Take a leadership role in complex and multifunctional areas.

• Share and implement best practices.

• Uphold effective quality systems and programs that align with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality Policy.

• Qualified Technician/Engineer or equivalent professional experience in medical devices, with relevant field service experience.

• Strong technical analytical skills.

• Ability to plan and organize work efficiently and effectively.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• High standards of work quality, demonstrating initiative and motivation.

• Customer-focused mindset.

• Excellent listening abilities and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English.

• Valid driver's license with active driving experience.

• Ability to maintain effective quality systems in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
