This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance strong customer relationships.

• Provide specialized technical guidance on the maintenance, installation, and servicing of medical equipment, encompassing both software and hardware.

• Execute corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.

• Commission and install equipment as required.

• Carry out software and hardware upgrades.

• Offer technical support throughout the entire customer lifecycle, spanning from pre-sales to implementation and post-sales assistance.

• Manage and resolve technical escalations, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.

• Deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services while identifying cost-effective solutions to minimize customer downtime.

• Stay updated with technical knowledge through ongoing training and development.

• Collaborate effectively with the broader organization to deliver outstanding customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electronics, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience from engineering/service roles in Communications Electronics, RADAR, Instrumentation, or Avionics.

• Prior experience in customer-facing service engineering, particularly within the medical or biomedical sector.

• Practical experience in one or more of the following areas: Diagnostic X-ray (DXR), Image Guided Therapy (IGT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), or Ultrasound.

• Proficient IT skills.

• Ideally possess a current Restricted Electrical Licence.

• Full New Zealand driver’s licence is required.

• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

• A police check will be required during the onboarding process.

• Capability to work reasonable additional hours beyond standard business hours, including on-call support.
