
Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain medical imaging equipment at customer locations across the nation.
• Foster customer relationships by effectively utilizing technical expertise.
• Provide outstanding customer service by establishing clear expectations, honoring commitments and arrival times, and efficiently resolving issues.
• Gain an understanding of customers' business environments to aid in service revenue growth.
• Work collaboratively with the regional team to enhance processes, identify training needs, and share best practices.
• Acquire new skills and achieve qualification across various modalities as required.
• Execute administrative and compliance responsibilities, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, preventive maintenance, field changes, and installation documentation.
• Comply with quality, safety, company, state, and federal regulations.
• Identify and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network-related system issues using established tools, resources, and escalation procedures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, field modifications, installations, and corrective services within designated timeframes.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory and to customer sites nationwide, including overnight stays and air travel.
• A minimum of 1 year of diagnostic imaging service experience (in the field or hospital-based) or over 3 years in an electromechanical service setting.
• Preferred experience in supporting diagnostic X-Ray, Cath Labs, or Image-Guided therapy equipment.
• Strong technical skills in electronic, mechanical, and networking principles.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• An associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and practical experience.
• Effective problem-solving abilities in regulated service environments.
• Capable of meeting physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to travel extensively, around 90%, which includes overnight stays and nationwide air travel.
• Must reside in a city within the territory (Northern California, Washington, or Oregon) that comprises the majority of the customer base.
• Must be located within a one-hour drive of a major non-regional airport.
• US work authorization is required.
