This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on designated equipment.
• Carry out installation, validation, and maintenance for assigned equipment.
• Guide, mentor, and support less experienced Field Engineers; offer coaching and feedback.
• Manage customer communications and act as the escalation point for customer-related issues, including installations.
• Take ownership of customer concerns from dispatch or identification through to resolution.
• Convey HQ and Zone or Area-level initiatives effectively.
• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings.
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer operational efficiency.
• Keep customer service logs and internal service records updated; order repair parts and oversee cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support to execute corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with teammates and colleagues.
• Engage with commercial counterparts, identify sales leads, assist in contract renewals and sales opportunities, and support revenue programs.
• Cultivate customer relationships while prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction.
• Track competitor information and market trends.
• Aid business growth alongside Commercial Sales teams and regional/zone leadership.
• Support the Area Service Manager or Director of Service in developing growth and deployment strategies.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific staff as necessary.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military training and 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• Proven experience interacting with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns effectively.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Must meet GEHC's standard background check requirements, including a post-offer drug test.
• Must adhere to customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level, flexing/extending the neck, and possessing good hand and finger dexterity.
