Field Service Engineer – Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical imaging equipment.

• Provide service for equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems located in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.

• Ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services to patients.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure prompt communication, resolution, and follow-up.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

• Record all work performed, including parts ordering.

• Participate in after-hours support and/or a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, or High School Diploma/GED with over 6 years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.

• Adherence to customer access policies, including necessary immunizations and potential additional drug tests or background checks.

• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.

• Capacity to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex and extend the neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.

• Willingness to work after-hours and/or participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.

• Experience in collaborating with internal team members and external customers.

• Desirable experience in ultrasound, X-Ray, vascular, or other imaging technologies.
