This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Oversee customer relationships by leveraging proficient technical knowledge.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain imaging equipment at client locations.
• Deliver customer service by fulfilling customer entitlements, managing expectations, and addressing requirements.
• Gain insights into customers’ businesses and competitive landscapes; generate service revenue.
• Engage in the regional work team and enhance team processes.
• Recognize training deficiencies and enhance capability and capacity, which includes attaining qualifications in multiple modalities and learning new tools.
• Execute administrative responsibilities including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventive maintenance, installation documents, and site/service documentation.
• Adhere to training, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize tools, support, resources, and escalation processes to address customer and system issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related assignments.
• Diagnose and rectify electronic, network, and mechanical issues.
• Travel approximately 70% within the specified region, including 1–4 hours of daily driving and occasional overnight, air, or train travel.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based) or over 3 years in electromechanical industries.
• Preferred experience with Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), and/or Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) imaging equipment.
• Proficient in understanding and applying electronic, mechanical, and networking principles to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Familiarity with and ability to utilize necessary tools and testing equipment.
• An Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Capable of meeting the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental demands for the Field Service role, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work in office/home office settings, remote, and hospital/healthcare environments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Competent to safely handle radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
• Must possess US work authorization; sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Should reside in or within commuting distance to Rapid City, South Dakota.
