Field Service Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Repair, maintain, and upgrade TransMedics Organ Care Systems within an assigned region.

• Install, repair, and maintain Organ Care Systems at both internal and external customer locations.

• Independently oversee an assigned region to ensure timely and compliant repair and servicing of devices and equipment.

• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

• Input completed service activity data into necessary databases.

• Maintain test equipment utilized in service operations.

• Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned or required by TransMedics.

• Travel domestically and internationally to TransMedics internal or customer locations on short notice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, or an Associate's/Technical degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the same role, or a High School diploma with at least 7 years of related experience.

• Proven ability to assemble and disassemble intricate electromechanical systems.

• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting complex electromechanical devices.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a valid passport.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

• Physical capability to uncrate and crate an Organ Care System and to lift service tool kits weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to manage a demanding travel schedule for both domestic and international trips, often on short notice.

• Availability for nights and weekends as required.

• Experience in providing field service for complex medical devices in hospital environments, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage.
