This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair intricate analytical and scientific instruments.
• Provide outstanding field service to customers in research, industrial, and healthcare environments.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Train and assist customers in the operation of equipment.
• Document service activities and generate comprehensive reports.
• Address customer requirements with minimal notice.
• Operate across designated territories and diverse laboratory settings.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical technical experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments.
• Familiarity with Flow Cytometry is considered a plus.
• Preferred educational backgrounds include Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Additional relevant certifications are beneficial.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills in electronics and mechanics, with the ability to diagnose issues to the assembly level.
• Excellent customer service skills alongside strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
• A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various laboratory conditions.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Ability to respond swiftly to customer needs.
• Capability to effectively train and support customers in equipment operation.
• Experience in documenting service activities and creating detailed reports.
• Proven track record in achieving customer satisfaction goals.
• Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards.
• Ability to work with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
