Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair assigned diagnostic equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.

• Diagnose technical issues across various complex instruments.

• Accurately document resolutions and close service calls within established timelines.

• Manage customer concerns from resolution to escalation.

• Foster strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

• Organize and prioritize service visits throughout the assigned territory.

• Keep precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, after-hours support, and travel for training or critical account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory, quality system, and laboratory safety standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

• Mentor fellow Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve targets for service sales, cost of service, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

• Keep certifications current through ongoing training and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the assigned territory.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with laboratory instruments.

• Capability to work independently and excel in team settings.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to maintaining certifications through ongoing training and professional development.
