Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Install, conduct preventive maintenance on, and repair designated diagnostic instruments.

• Identify technical issues across intricate instruments and document their resolutions.

• Manage customer concerns until resolution or escalation is necessary.

• Organize and prioritize service appointments while maintaining precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, provide after-hours support, and travel for training or urgent account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory, quality-system, and laboratory-safety protocols.

• Keep thorough documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offer guidance to Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales, cost-of-service, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

• Maintain certifications through continuous training and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities related to laboratory instrumentation.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings.
