Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Install diagnostic systems and perform preventive maintenance along with corrective repairs.

• Identify technical issues across a variety of complex instruments.

• Accurately document solutions and close service requests within specified timeframes.

• Address customer concerns from resolution to escalation.

• Organize and prioritize service appointments while keeping precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, after-hours support, training travel, and critical account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory standards, quality systems, and laboratory safety protocols.

• Keep thorough documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offer guidance to fellow Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales, cost of service, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

• Maintain certifications through continuous training and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with laboratory instruments.

• Capability to work independently as well as excel in team settings.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to reside within the St. Petersburg, Florida area.
