Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair diagnostic instruments.

• Perform preventive maintenance and carry out corrective repairs.

• Diagnose technical issues across various complex instruments.

• Accurately document resolutions and close service calls within specified timelines.

• Manage customer concerns through resolution or escalation processes.

• Develop strong customer relationships through proactive communication.

• Plan and prioritize service visits effectively.

• Maintain precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, provide after-hours coverage, and travel for training or critical account support.

• Adhere to regulatory, quality system, and laboratory safety guidelines.

• Ensure documentation is maintained for audits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Offer guidance to other Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales goals, cost-of-service targets, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

• Keep certifications current through continuous training and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the assigned territory.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with laboratory instrumentation.

• Capacity to work independently while excelling in team environments.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain certifications through ongoing training and development.
