This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance, installation, and repair of instrumentation at both internal and external customer locations, including strategic accounts.

• Operate independently to address assigned customer and technical challenges.

• Mentor and cultivate the skills of less experienced team members.

• Execute high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance on mass spectrometers, HPLC, and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation.

• Conduct qualification services and provide training to customers.

• Ensure customer satisfaction for strategic accounts.

• Fulfill administrative responsibilities, which involve logging service activities, reporting expenses, and managing inventory.

• Report to the District Service Manager as part of the Field Technical Service team.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent experience (such as Military Certificates in electronics or avionics).

• Experience with LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis is required.

• Previous experience in using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instrumentation.

• Must meet Vendor Credentialing requirements.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally by vehicle or airplane, including up to 50% overnight travel.

• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is essential.

• Capability and readiness to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proficiency in walking, climbing, standing, carrying materials, stooping, kneeling, and bending at the waist.

• Skill in troubleshooting and following established problem-solving procedures.

• Experience with electrical and electromechanical technology.

• Commitment to adhering to required safety protocols.
