Field Service Engineer – German-speaking Switzerland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Execute routine maintenance and repairs on imaging systems, including computed tomography (CT) scanners, following technical documentation and/or modification guidelines.

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems independently at customer locations.

• Address issues via remote diagnosis in the role of Regional Online Engineer.

• Timely completion of service reports, worksheets, maintenance records, and other necessary documentation.

• Participate in regular training sessions on technical advancements, which may include international training opportunities.

• Maintain tools, instruments, and testing equipment, ensuring their proper calibration.

• Assist the sales team in the ongoing expansion of the customer base.

• Offer on-site consultation and troubleshooting for customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, medical technology, information technology, or mechatronics, or equivalent training.

• Relevant experience in medical technology, ideally with imaging systems.

• Strong technical and analytical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Valid driver's license.
