Field Service Engineer – ESS, PV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for PV inverters and ESS equipment.

• Provide both field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and service partners throughout Scotland and Northern England.

• Identify and diagnose issues related to electrical, mechanical, communication, and software systems.

• Carry out inspections, testing, firmware updates, and performance evaluations according to company standards and relevant regulations.

• Generate service reports, document corrective measures, and keep precise service records.

• Work in collaboration with internal technical, sales, and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess technical training in electrical engineering, renewable energy, power electronics, or a related field.

• Have hands-on experience in servicing solar PV, battery storage, electrical, or industrial machinery.

• Capable of interpreting electrical schematics.

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and independently resolving faults.

• Reside in or be able to work remotely from Northern England or Scotland.

• Willing to travel frequently across the northern UK region.

• Committed to prioritizing health, safety, quality, and professional communication with customers.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
