Field Service Engineer, ESS / PV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for PV inverters and ESS equipment.

• Provide both field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and service partners throughout Scotland and Northern England.

• Identify electrical, mechanical, communication, and software-related issues.

• Carry out inspections, testing, firmware updates, and performance evaluations.

• Create service reports and document corrective measures taken.

• Keep precise service records.

• Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment performance.

• Assist with PV and energy storage systems in the mid-region and northern region of England.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education in electrical engineering, renewable energy, power electronics, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience in servicing solar PV, battery storage, electrical, or industrial equipment.

• Capability to interpret electrical schematics, utilize diagnostic tools, and independently resolve issues.

• Reside in or have the ability to work remotely from Northern England or Scotland.

• Willingness to travel regularly across the northern UK region.

• Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.

• Professional communication skills with customers.

• Proficiency in English at C1 level.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
