Field Service Engineer – ESS, PV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for PV inverters and ESS equipment.

• Provide both field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and service partners throughout Scotland and Northern England.

• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, communication, and software-related issues.

• Conduct inspections, testing, firmware updates, and performance evaluations in accordance with company standards and relevant regulations.

• Generate service reports, document corrective measures, and ensure precise maintenance records.

• Work collaboratively with internal technical, sales, and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Formal education in electrical engineering, renewable energy, power electronics, or a similar field.

• Hands-on experience in servicing solar PV, battery storage, electrical, or industrial machinery.

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, utilize diagnostic tools, and independently troubleshoot issues.

• Reside in or have the capability to work remotely from Northern England or Scotland.

• Willingness to travel regularly across the northern UK region.

• Emphasize health, safety, quality, and professional communication with customers.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level.

• Proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
