Field Service Engineer – Enterprise Service, Asset Performance Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Assist customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of both company and multi-vendor system solutions.

• Set up and enhance hardware, software, and network products, along with configurations at customer locations.

• Identify and resolve product performance issues.

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks.

• Provide guidance to customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance.

• Actively address potential equipment or software concerns to avert unexpected business disruptions.

• Offer fully integrated solutions that encompass peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.

• Function as an internal technical resource and manage escalations related to products.

• Work in collaboration with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.

• Conduct technical training, maintenance seminars, and workshops for field engineers or customers.

• Train additional field engineers or customers.

• Calibrate equipment on-site for high-volume customers.

• Qualify leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent qualifications.

• Post-graduate certifications and/or licenses may be required.

• Generally, a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience is needed for entry into this role.

• Must agree to participate in and fulfill Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary for access to customer sites.

• Requirements may include identification proof, certification verification for performing required work, and adherence to customer health and safety protocols.

• Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time.

• Availability for day shifts is required.
