Field Service Engineer – Diagnostic Imaging, Vascular, Surgery X-Ray, Mammography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of X-ray systems throughout the Midlands, with the ability to assist with broader UK needs.

• Identify and rectify intricate system-level issues across various technology platforms.

• Establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals to guarantee equipment uptime and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Offer remote diagnostics and home-office assistance by connecting to systems for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, service centers, and commercial departments.

• Oversee tools, spare parts, and travel arrangements.

• Accurately complete necessary documentation within set deadlines.

• Travel approximately 35–40% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.

• Participate in international training courses as needed.

• Be available for overtime, short-notice callouts, and weekend shifts, including one weekend per month.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Experience in field service; medical imaging experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Familiarity with remote connectivity tools and diagnostics.

• Proficient in IT skills, including software installation, virtual machines, and troubleshooting.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience with additional medical imaging modalities is desirable.

• Understanding of DICOM and IT/network troubleshooting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

• Project management experience is desirable.
